NOTES FROM OUR 2007 MUSIC & WORSHIP CONFERENCE

&

THE 2007 WORSHIP SUMMIT

Geron Davis & Kindred Souls were our guests for our Southern New England Music & Worship Conference this past September. Geron is known for his songwriting that has touched the hearts of countless millions with songs like Holy Ground, Send It On Down, Evermore, Mercy Saw Me, and the list could go on. Geron, along with his wife Becky, his sister Alyson, and her husband Shelton, ministered to those in attendance, and inspired us to greater ministry with their ministry to us. Geron talked about our “moments” affecting ministry and encouraged us to allow our ministry to affect those “moments”. He also talked about the anointing that is on our lives, not on “a ministry”. If our lives are anointed, then the mantle of ministry we take on has that anointing, whether it be preaching or worship leading or pastoring or any other ministry. Their music inspired us and encouraged us. The food was wonderful, and the fellowship was sweet. It was a dynamic time in His presence, and we all left with a stronger desire to serve our Lord with a greater passion and anointing as we lead our churches into His presence in corporate worship each Sunday.

Churches throughout the nation are being linked together via satellite for the Worship Summit 2007, the largest worship training event ever, on November 2-3, 2007. Worship leaders will include Michael W. Smith, Paul Baloche, Darlene Zschech, Don Moen, and Israel Houghton. I am aware of Evangel Assembly in Wilbraham, MA (Springfield area) as one of the church locations for this exciting live satellite broadcast. Log onto www.WorshipSummit.com for more information, tickets, and church locations in your area.
