Resources

As you know, women in ministry face many struggles that others might not understand. Often we are left feeling isolated and lonely, with no direction to turn for advice.

As part of this sight, I wanted to offer you a list of resources that you can turn to.

The following is a list of books that have helped me greatly in ministry, and I feel you might benefit from also. If you have a resource that has blessed you and aided you in ministry, let me know so we can pass it on to others!

I'm More Than a Pastor's Wife - Lorna Dobson

Counsel for Pastor's Wives - Diane Langberg

Peace in the Parsonage - Jean Meppelink

Help! I'm a Pastor's Wife - Michele Buckingham

Married to a Pastor's Wife - HB London, Jr. & Neil B. Wiseman

"No couple in ministry, no matter how they try, can shelter themselves from the rapid changes in our church, culture, and community. No congregation, no matter how resistant, can think about a pastor's wife like it always has. No family of churches or denomination can continue business as usual in relationship to the minister's mate and family. It's time to listen with our whole heart to what pastor's wives have to say and do something about it."

Healing for Damaged Emotions - David Seamands

If you are hurting emotionally, this book will help you. For God can break the chains from your past and free you to live. He can recycle you hang-ups into wholeness.
