YOUR CHURCH CAN SCHEDULE TO
USE THIS TRAILER!
 
This trailer, (*also known as the Home Missions Trailer or the Sunday School Sidewalk Trailer) is available to the Southern New England District Churches for use in Outreach Ministry.  There is no cost to the church for use.  The trailer MUST BE scheduled atleast three weeks prior to the event. TRAILER USE & RENTAL POLICY 
 
 
GENERAL PROCEDURES:
1. Must be scheduled (if possible) at least three (3) weeks in advance to avoid conflict of interest.
2. Parties using the trailer must have a one (1) ton vehicle to tow  the trailer.
3. Senior Pastor or Minister will sign out and in the trailer, taking responsibility for the ministry use of the vehicle.
4. Proper equipment for turn signals must be present on the towing vehicle and appropriate wiring to plug-in trailer braking lights.
5. You will be held responsible to repair any damage done to the vehicle if necessary (including missing equipment such as jacks, stairs, etc.)
6. Due to scheduling conflicts, the trailer must be returned within twenty-four (24) hours of use, unless other arrangements have been made at the time of scheduling.

DEFINITION OF TRAILER USE AND PURPOSE:
1. The ministry trailer is used specifically for ministry use.  Basically, a portable outdoor ministry platform.
2. No more than five (5) people on the platform at one time (maximum weight limit is 500 lbs.) and brackets must be secure.
3. No person or persons are to ride inside the trailer at any time.
4. It is not be used to move peoples furniture or transport stockpiles of materials under any circumstances.

SET UP, BREAK DOWN, AND RETURN OF TRAILER:   
1. All door hinges must be sprayed with WD-40 (lubricant) before opening to avoid damage.  Be sure to slowly open to avoid bending hinges or doors.
2. The leg by the ball hitch of the trailer must be cranked to ground level and balanced with the front stage jacks (see below for front stage jacks).
3. Locks are to remain locked on doors in the closed and open positions to avoid being lost.
4. Keys are to remain on party responsible.
5. Front right and left jacks must be secure on the ground balancing out the trailer before you put weight on it.  If setting up on grass you must place boards where the jacks meet the ground.
6. Left and right stage brackets (in trailer) are to be used at all times the platform is in use.  Pins need to be in place and brackets secure before any weight is placed upon the platform.
7. Stairs are in the trailer for the front of the stage but are to be set up and used with wisdom  and caution.  Be sure it is balanced and secure.  We recommend having everyone enter from the back stage if coming on the platform, this should avoid injury.
8. All hinges are sprayed again before closing the trailer.
9. All hardware of trailer is placed inside and ball hitch is returned with it
 
Please note: The Southern New England District Headquarters takes no responsibility for injury, negligence, or accidents relating to this trailer upon pickup and drop off the trailer.  All parties signing to borrow the trailer are making the statement that they are experienced and responsible individuals with the equipment they are borrowing and the proper and safe use departure and return of it.
